It’s a little bit hard to explain in the sense that it’s not coaching; it’s not business growth, development, etc.  It was everything.  It was talking about the history of the world, the history of religion, your growth through whatever religion you were brought up in or lack thereof, it was childhood traumas, it was relationships that you had over the years, the jobs you’ve taken on, why you’ve taken them on, all the differing quirks that have developed in your life and bring you to that point of realization of “I’m an accumulation of all the days that I’ve been alive up until that point”.

Now, the beauty of this is you come to realize with Aaron’s guidance that you are now becoming aware of how life works and how life has developed you into the person you are.  Not saying it’s good or bad, just saying it is what it is.  But the beauty is knowing that if you become aware and conscious of this you can now start to take more control of who you are as a person, who you are as a leader, and what traits you want to focus on and build upon in order to take more control over the future destiny of your life, of your business, of businesses you haven’t even thought about, or if you realize this can take you into a whole new direction.

For me, I’m still a businessman at heart, an entrepreneur at heart, but at the same time the more Aaron and I talked the recurring political themes would keep coming back, and 

eventually I decided that politics was in my future, and I ran for alderman.  Three years later I ran for mayor.  I won those campaigns and all those pieces that I worked through with Aaron and built upon were there and have taken me to new levels that, it’s not that I didn’t know were possible, but I didn’t necessarily know how to get from point A to point D, and that’s how things were able to be broken down with Aaron’s assistance.

So, what I would say to you is, if you’re looking for a coach, don’t waste your time.  If you’re looking to find your purpose in why you are here, however you believe you got here, and however you believe the future of the world is going to play out, if you want to understand better your part in that scenario, that plan of the world, then you’d want to work with Aaron Marx.  But again, don’t waste your time and don’t waste Aaron’s time if you’re not willing to dive deep and see the big picture of everything that surrounds you in this beautiful, crazy world that we live in together.
